In 1973, John A. Flynn was appointed Vice President General Counsel for North American Car Corporation, a Tiger International subsidiary in Chicago and three years, in 1976, later was promoted to Vice President Law for Tiger International.
By June 1979, Mr. Flynn was named Vice President-Corporate Affairs for Flying Tigers and the following year was promoted to Senior Vice President Administration for Flying Tigers.
In 1981, John Flynn was promoted to Executive Vice President of Flying Tigers and in 1983 was named to succeed Thomas Grojean as President of Flying Tigers. Mr. Flynn served as president for barely one year when he resigned.
